  • ⁠Legal consultant on ALES project of the transition of Almaty’s CHP-2 from coal to gas under the EBRD Green Cities Programme. Advising on legal matters related to the modernisation of CHP-2 with a 600 MW combined-cycle gas turbine, aiming to cut emissions by 80% and reduce CO₂ by 3 million tons.

  • ⁠⁠Advised on the first-ever USAID-funded rooftop solar (RTS) pilot project in Kazakhstan under the Power Central Asia initiative. The project aims to assess the potential for scaling up urban solar PV installations across residential, commercial, industrial, and public buildings.

  • Advised on the project for the construction, operation, and management of Turkistan International Airport – a key infrastructure initiative to boost regional connectivity. Legal work included drafting and revising the PPP agreement and supporting negotiations with the private partner.

  • Advised the Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan on the construction and operation of a multi-disciplinary hospital under Sd. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University in Almaty. This PPP project is a key step in modernising Kazakhstan’s healthcare infrastructure, aiming to improve access to advanced medical services.

  • Advised a Chinese mining company on the acquisition of a 30% stake in Khorasan‑U and Kyzylkum, two of Kazakhstan’s largest uranium projects. This transaction is significant for Kazakhstan’s role as the world’s leading uranium producer and reflects broader global realignments in the critical materials and nuclear sectors.
