His experience includes participating and advising clients on various corporate restructuring matters in contemplated M&A transactions, including drafting and adopting structures of a relevant transaction (to the extent permitted) or constituent documents governed by foreign law in compliance with the Kazakh / AIFC law. He is actively participating in legal due diligence of Kazakh and AIFC companies, and proactively participating in a preparation of legal opinions (capacity opinions and enforceability opinions) on cross border financing transactions for various financial institutions, including Development Bank of Kazakhstan.

  • Advised a leading Chinese mining company on an M&A transaction in Kazakhstan's mining sector, including negotiations of the Sale Purchase Agreement, transaction involved consultation on Kazakhstani and AIFC laws.

  • Advised the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Agency for Strategic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the implementation of Hydropower Auctions for cumulative capacity of ~46,6 MWs in Uzbekistan, which is being developed by JSC UzbekHydro on a Public Private Partnership basis.

  • Advised Qazaq Wind Holding Co. Ltd. on corporate structuring and registration at the AIFC, delivering full legal support from document preparation to regulatory compliance.
