About
Mrs Abdullayeva has more than 16-year experience advising foreign investors, research institutions, leading national and international companies on a wide range of legal issues related to foreign investments in oil & gas, mining, energy, and renewables sectors.
Her particular focus has been on transactional and regulatory advisory, M&A, project structuring, equity and debt financing, cross-border deals structuring, and specific regulatory issues. Prior to joining the Team, Zhanar worked as a member of major international law firm, Denton Wilde Sapte and Coudert and Brothers.
She worked on a number of cross-border transactions in subsoil sector, advised on foreign investment, financial matters and general corporate and commercial issues in Kazakhstan. For many years, she has been recommended by the international legal directory, IFLR1000.
