Ms Salimova-Tekay has worked in Central Asia, Caucasus & South Europe with the primary focus on financing infrastructure development – power, district heating, water & wastewater, and transport. She has led a range of financial modellings, feasibility studies, PPP deals, and strategy formulations. She has also managed several policy advice-related engagements in infrastructure tariff setting, RE auctions mechanisms, bankability of PPAs, and utility financing.
Jannat also actively participates in policy dialogue on such important matters as PPP, renewable energy, tariff regulation, and municipal finance. She is currently the President and Founding Member of the Kazakhstan Renewable Energy Association, advising several wind projects at early development stages.
Jannat is highly experienced in financial structuring, financial/economic analysis, and investment evaluation, public financing options analysis, financial and operational restructuring of municipal utilities, issues of corporate governance, financial modelling, and public/private investment valuation.
