Vadim completed his studies at the esteemed State University "Higher School of Economics" in 2003, and achieved remarkable academic success by obtaining a master’s degree in LLM from the prestigious University of Manchester. Vadim's professional trajectory boasts notable contributions to esteemed institutions. He served as an Assistant Professor at AlmaU, where he imparted his knowledge and expertise to students.

Vadim's extensive experience encompasses a significant tenure as a Senior Research Fellow at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration from 2002 to 2022. Russian arbitration courts, including the esteemed highest arbitral tribunal (case no. ВАС-13048/13). Vadim has been called upon multiple times to provide his specialised knowledge and insights as a specialist (cases no. А65-7241/2012, А53-24194/2014, А53-722/2013, А28-8418/2014, А61-110/2015, А65-20903/2015, А65-19383/2017) and expert witness (case no. А56-23056/2013) in arbitration proceedings.

His expertise extends beyond arbitration, as he has also acted as an expert witness in a noteworthy precedent-setting Russian cartel criminal case in the general jurisdiction court, where his testimony played a pivotal role in securing an exceptionally rare acquittal for the accused. Vadim's outstanding contributions were duly recognised by the defence representatives.

Throughout his career, Vadim has served esteemed clients such as major Russian companies including "Sberbank," "X5," "Magnit," "Yandex," "Gazprom Neft," "VimpelCom," "Rostelecom," and "Aeroflot," providing them with his invaluable insights and advisory services.

In addition to his professional engagements, Vadim holds esteemed positions as a member of the editorial board for the journal "Economic Policy" and the editorial board for Studia Humana, a prominent publication based in Poland.

Vadim actively participates in the Association of Antimonopoly Experts, an esteemed professional organisation. He has contributed to academic discourse by publishing articles on topics related to competition policy in journals such as "Competition and Law," "Zakon," "Economic Policy," and "Voprosy Ekonomiki." Furthermore, Vadim shares his wealth of knowledge as a lecturer at the Juridical Institute "M-Logos" and is recognized as a thought leader in the domain of competition through his regular column in the esteemed business newspaper "Kursiv."

Vadim's exceptional contributions to research on Russia have garnered acclaim, as his involvement in studies conducted in 2013 and 2014 resulted in his work being included in the annual compilation of the fourteen most captivating research papers dedicated to exploring Russia, as recognised by the expert portal of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics."
