COVID-19: Обзор правовых аспектов
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 the State of Emergency was declared in Kazakhstan for the period of March 16th till May 1st, 2020.
The spread of the virus across Central Asia, particularly in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan began early in March. While the number of infected people is increasing everyday, the virus has affected many areas of activity such as production, export and import, oil& gas, manufacturing, tourism, etc.
Among other limitations, the entry to and departure from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for everyone is restricted at this time.
The emergency is set in Kazakhstan for the period from 08:00 a.m. of March 16, 2020 until May 1st, 2020.
Despite the fact that most of activities are shut in Uzbekistan, the Government has not declared the State of Emergency.
